Jean Pinzelli’s Textile Art Restrospective Exhibition in the medieval village of Vézénobres (Salles Romanes), includes more than 40 traditional and contemporary Patchworks as well as Textiles Creations, the latter using silk and lace, burnt felt and even plastic bags!
For 30 years she has explored the possibilities of many textile art forms, including weaving, batik and patchwork. Jean Pinzelli has participated in various exhibitions in Switzerland and France.
She also continues to explore art in other media, such as acrylic, oil,pastel,watercolours and life drawing.
English by birth and French by marriage, Jean Pinzelli received a B.A hons in Fine Arts at the University of East Anglia (UK) and a Maîtrise (MA) in Medieval Architecture at the University of Aix en Provence.
In Switzerland, where she lived for 35 years, she taught English to adults in Zürich and in Geneva before moving to France (Gard).
